During this engaging session, Part 2:  Communicating Concerns and Challenges, you will:

Gain strategies to effectively and comfortably discuss concerns and challenging behaviors with families. Collect methods to set the stage for these conversations before concerns arise. Identify tips and specific helpful language that will turn these potentially awkward or tense conversations into comfortable and collaborative discussions. The strategies learned will help keep parents open to your insight, increase family buy-in, and help maintain your important relationship.

During this engaging live webinar series, you will

  • Get into the heart and mind of the families you work with to gain understanding of what parents are looking for when they leave their child with you to help increase positive outcomes for all. Why do parents disengage or dismiss your ideas and important feedback? How can you work together to ensure the most positive behavior outcomes for the child? What leads to lack of follow through or pushing your boundaries? What can you do about it?!
  • Discover strategies to help build a relationship that will help you thrive amidst difficulty and the inevitable challenges that come up when educating and sharing the care of young children.
  • Identify strategies to build a strong connection with families that increase the rewards you experience in your work as you build trusting relationships and foster bonded connections that last (even through difficulties!)

You gain 2 training hours for each webinar!

All participants who fully complete the course will receive a training certificate for 2-training hours for each webinar (6-hours total!)  To receive your training hours, you will need to log in to Zoom to participate in chats/polls  as you apply the concepts to your environment and complete a brief evaluation survey.  Participants must not miss more than 15 minutes of the session.  During the session, you must not be responsible for the care of young children or driving a car.
